PRODUCTS

OPC-Type I is a general-purpose Portland cement used where cement or concrete is not subject to sulfate attacks from soil or water. ACICO’s OPC-Type 1 goes in the manufacturing and fabrication of many pavements and sidewalks, reinforced concrete buildings, bridges, railway structures, tanks, reservoirs, culverts, sewers, water pipes and masonry units.

Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) – Type I

MSRC – Type II is another form of Portland cement designed to improve the performance of concrete that comes in contact with water or soil containing moderate sulphate content. It can be used in structures of considerable mass, such as large piers, heavy abutments, and heavy retaining walls. Its use will reduce temperature rise — especially important when the concrete is placed in warm weather.

Moderate Sulphate Resistant Cement (MSRC) – Type II

SRC – Type V is used only in concrete exposed to a severe sulfate attack, principally where soils or groundwaters have a high sulfate content. It also provides improved durability for concrete in most aggressive environments, reducing the risk of deterioration of the structure and structural failure. SRC – Type V is used in ready mix concrete and building foundations where concrete is in direct contact with soil with high salt content or seawater.

Sulfate Resistant Cement (SRC) – Type V

White cement is used only selectively for prestige construction projects and decorative works. It is also used for colored concrete with the use of inorganic pigments. This type of cement is applied in aesthetic architecture, interior and exterior decorations, floorings, and ornamental concrete. In addition to structural applications, ACICO’s durable white cement-based finishes and products include swimming pools, traffic barriers, stucco and plasters, tile grout, and patching materials.

GGBS is a high-quality, low CO2 cementitious material that can replace over 70% of the Portland cement content in a concrete mix. ACICO’s GGBS is an environmentally friendly product that allows designing concrete mixes for sustainable construction. The manufacture of GGBS at ACICO requires less than 20% of the energy and produces less than 10% of the CO2 emissions. A highly durable and workable material, ACICO’s GGBS is a sustainable alternative used in the production of ready-mix and precast concrete for foundations and concrete frames. It can also be used for cement-based formulations, soil stabilization works and the production of large-scale volumes of mortar.

Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) – Grade 120 & Grade 100

ACICO’s Micro Silica can be used for the improvement of concrete properties.This material is an excellent admixture for concrete as it leads to better engineering properties such as reduced thermal cracking and improved durability.When properly mixed with cement, ACICO’s Micro Silica increases its strength as well.It also contributes to better corrosion,abrasion and chemical resistance in concrete.ACICO’s Micro Silica can be used in a variety of applications such as concrete,grouts,mortars,ceramics and cement products.ACICO micro silica application can be broadly used in High-Performance Concrete, High-Strength Concrete and Shotcrete for the construction projects of hydropower,water conservation,bridges,roads,ports and airport.

PACKAGING

ACICO Cement’s Portland cement products can be purchased and distributed in high-quality 50KG and 25KG bags that are composed of thick multi-layer paper, resistant to tears and possible rupture, with high-quality printing clearly displaying ACICO Cement’s registered trademark, cement grade, and other necessary product and fine quality indicators. All ACICO Cement’s products can also be delivered in bulk according to the customer’s requirement.
